Inspection of your private water drainage system
Healthy waterways are a shared responsibility. By separating rainwater and wastewater, we avoid polluted rivers, falling groundwater levels, overloaded treatment plants, and even flooding.
Qern supervises both private and professional projects. Even before the inspection, our sewerage experts advise on the architect's design and plans. This helps you avoid problems later on. We focus on sustainable solutions such as infiltration facilities (WADI, infiltration wells, etc.) and the correct treatment of wastewater flows (grease traps, KWS separators, etc.).
Aquaflanders and Vlario are responsible for the inspection. Are you dissatisfied with an inspection? In that case, we encourage you to engage in dialogue first. If you cannot reach an agreement, you can submit a complaint via the AquaFlanders (www.aquaflanders.be) or Vlario (https://www.vlario.be/) website.
Procedure
We conduct an initial analysis based on the documents and information you provide. We then carry out a visual inspection and the official inspection. You will receive a certificate with the result: compliant or non-compliant. If the result is non-compliant, we will state the reason so that you can have specific adjustments made. Sometimes we also provide additional comments or points for improvement without this leading to a non-compliant result.

Inspection of water installations
An inspection is also mandatory for your water installation. This not only keeps your own drinking water healthy, but also prevents your installation from contaminating the drinking water network.
A correct connection is crucial: no connections between rainwater and drinking water, pipes that are laid correctly, and facilities that prevent the backflow of contaminated water.
